Weekend Getaway In My Hometown

Since it was a long weekend, we went to visit our family in Nueva Ecija. We really love it when we're home. The air's fresh, the food's great and everything seems all desirable.

Here are some of the pictures we took during that time.

Hush, hush... baby's asleep.

Daddy too!

Tata Ondeng (our uncle) cooking rice with a native stove. He's using a small bamboo pipe to generate air for combustion. This is basically where they cook and get some water using a pump.

A farmer's hat.

The "buslo" or the container of calamansi during harvesting.

Hen's two eggs along with some chicken poo.

Champi, the Askal.

Feeding time for chickens and ducks.

A family of duck roaming for extra food.

My Lola Maria and niece, Syeli.

A native orchid in the backyard.

One of my favorite flowers, the calachuchi

Zean about to park his bike after playing with his friends.

Ate Syeli is busy playing with baby
