Reminiscing those days when I was a child,
Out in the open and all was mild.
Living in those moments, free from all worries,
Loving the feeling like it’s part of great stories.
Years have gone by and things have changed,
Every time’s notion has all been arranged.
Those care-free years have been spent and history,
Hours, minutes, and seconds just seem in a hurry.
Elation came suddenly as a child was born,
Leaning into my arms, to protect I’ve sworn.
Bearer of bliss has come in so swiftly,
Erasing all doubts, all vex pushed tenuously.
Recollection of childhood is no longer desired,
The kid of my own is all I need to be inspired.
